I wasn’t familiar with The Chapman House until we had to find a place for my aunt to live. I quickly became impressed with their facility and the staff. They are so friendly, caring and accommodating and kept us well informed. They took such great care of my aunt, which was so comforting to the family.

Chapman House January 25 Announcement

Dear Family Member:

The staff of The Chapman House extend warm wishes to each of you as the year 2026 arrives.

Our regulations allow residents to keep and enjoy their personal clothing and belongings, as space permits. To help ensure your loved one’s comfort and safety, we kindly encourage arranging the room in a way that allows easy and safe movement, especially when using a walker or cane. Keeping pathways as clear as possible helps us support mobility, safety, and overall well-being while meeting important life-safety guidelines.

We ask families that would like to bring a dog to visit with a loved one to call ahead and speak with Sheryll Seger, Activities or the Administrator, to ensure health and safety for our residents and staff. We ask that all fuzzy visitors be up to date on their vaccinations (The Chapman House MUST have a copy of the immunization records for each dog visiting), always remain leashed, and refrain from visiting areas outside the assigned visiting area. The staff will direct you to the appropriate area for the dog’s visit.

As the New Year begins, the hope is to continue to work with you and your loved ones for the best and most satisfying experience at The Chapman House. Please share any suggestions or ideas you may have with us. Our family meetings will resume in April. To ensure productive meetings, feedback regarding time of day, day of the week and topics for discussion is requested.

The Staff Members and The Board of Directors wish to thank all of our residents, families and vendors for enabling us to make The Chapman House a home.
