We are a licensed assisted living facility through the state of Maine. We provide care and services to senior ladies who qualify for residential level care. Our staff offers unique and exceptional care to every resident who lives at The Chapman House.
What is Assisted Living?
Assisted living provides housing, nursing care, housekeeping, and prepared meals for people who need help with daily care. We provide a private room and bathroom to every resident with shared common areas and encourage as much independent living as possible.

Private Bedrooms with Private Bathrooms
Each resident is provided a one bedroom and one bathroom apartment. We try our best to work with residents to place them in a room that best fits their needs.

FAQ’s
Here are a few frequently asked questions we get about living at The Chapman House.
What can I bring?
We can either stage rooms for you or you can bring their own furniture. We do not allow microwaves or refrigerators in resident’s rooms although we do have them available in the dining room. We also have an on-site hairdresser, wifi in common areas, and can help set you up with our in-house banking services.
How do I set up cable, internet, and phone?
After accepted for admission, residents will contact local vendors that will assist you with this service. Be sure to mention our maintenance director’s name, Eric LaGrange, so that he may work with the vendor to make sure you get the services requested. The Chapman House provides cable in our common areas. We do have a phone available for resident use.
